Beyond the Bot: Practical AI for Modern HR

    Featuring Amanda Van Den Elzen

Amanda will show how to use AI tools and resources to support roles in HR. She will focus on 3 areas: word smithing and drafting policies, finding answers through research and brainstorming, and using the multi-model aspect of HR to analyze data. Best practices around risk, compliance, and intellectual property will be included in this hands-on workshop.

    About the speaker:

Amanda Van Den Elzen is a Generative AI strategist, workforce development leader, and the founder of BetterWork Training, a professional development consultancy that drives measurable business performance through practical AI adoption.

With a bachelor’s degree in HR Management from Concordia University and experience across HR Operations, Recruiting, and Talent Development, Amanda understands how people strategy connects directly to operational results.

Today, Amanda equips HR leaders and business teams to turn Generative AI from experimentation into execution. Her approach centers on role-specific training that increases productivity, accelerates adoption, and produces clear ROI. She positions AI not as a technology project, but as a workforce strategy, aligning skills, workflows, and business objectives to unlock measurable efficiency and performance gains.
