    Samuel McIntyre is a client executive at M3 Insurance. Specializing in employee benefits, McIntyre supports the agency’s efforts to gain new business and to build long-lasting client relationships. He works with clients to design and implement employee benefit programs, manage risk, and maintain appropriate levels of coverage.

    Outside of the office, McIntyre finds joy in spending quality time with his family and four children, relaxing outdoors, listening to live music, collecting bourbon, and exploring different cooking methods. He has a passion for volunteering and fundraising for various organizations throughout Northeastern Wisconsin.

    • Earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
    • Gained experience working as a long-term care insurance advisor at Healthchoice and employee benefits advisor at Vizance prior to M3
    • Joined M3 in 2023


    Stew Koskinen is mid-market new business Account Executive with UnitedHealthcare of Wisconsin, based in the De Pere office. Stew spent the first 15 years of his career as an employee benefits broker and Vice President at a local Wisconsin insurance agency. Stew joined UnitedHealthcare in 2019 in his sales role and he specializes in working with brokers and groups in the mid-market space, groups between 51-250 employees. His areas of expertise include fully insured, level funded and self-funded medical plan design, underwriting, wellness, ancillary coverage and benefits strategy.


    Ken Nimmer is passionate about helping individuals with pretax benefits, especially HSA knowledge and its usage so that individuals can make informed financial decisions when it comes to both healthcare and their overall financial wellbeing. Ken has been selected to be included in the Circle of Excellence team by Associated Bank. Ken obtained his B.A. from St. Norbert College in Psychology and Business.

    Ken supports local non-profits through volunteerism. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, working on cars, and golfing with his kids.

    • Certified as a Flexible Compensation Specialist (FCS) through ECFC

    • Certified as an HSA Expert (HSAe) through the ECFC

    • Certified COBRA Expert through ECFC

    • Licensed Health and Life Sales in WI


    Corey Grimes is a Principal Securities Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative, specializing in retirement planning and fee-based accounts.  He is experienced in the sales and service of group benefits including health, life, disability, and retirement plans.  He also has experience in helping individuals plan for their retirement goals along with managing their income distribution during retirement.

    Corey earned the designation of Chartered Financial Consultant®(ChFC®) in April of 2010 and Retirement Income Certified Professional,(RICP®) as of February 2017.

    Mr Grimes graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1996 with a bachelor of Science degree. 

    Corey wrestled at the University and was a 4 year letter winner for the Titans.  He has been a licensed insurance agent and registered representative since 1997.  He began his career with the Principal Financial Group®. 

    Corey is an active member of the local community belonging to the Heart of  the Valley chamber of Commerce. In his spare time Corey enjoys outdoor activites such as hunting, playing soccer and taking long walks with his wife Erin and his dog Gunner.

    Summary:

     Chad Wade, attorney with Renning, Lewis and Lacy, will provide an overview of the changing legal landscape to the Oshkosh Area SHRM Chapter at the December chapter meeting.

    Chad will share his insights into state and federal legal developments from the past year -- including a review of the most significant labor and employment law related decisions (both from the courts and administrative agencies) as well as their impact on Human Resource professionals.


    Chad will also provide an overview of anticipated decisions from the courts and administrative agencies and provide insights on how the 2024 election results may impact legislative and administrative priorities.

    Questions from attendees are encouraged.

    This program has been pre-approved for 1.5 SHRM and HRCI credits.


    Meet our Speaker:


    Chad Wade  provides counsel in a variety of labor and employment matters, including legal compliance and defense of employers under the FLSA, FMLA, NLRA, and employment discrimination laws. He also has experience drafting and implementing a wide range of employment policies from his time as in-house counsel for a Wisconsin municipality.

    Chad’s primary client base consists of private employers, public school districts, and Wisconsin municipalities.
