Pete Dewar specializes in employee benefits for medium and large employers in both the public and private sector. He brings a passion for developing strategic benefit plans that align with the business objectives of his clients to promote long term viability. USI clients benefit from his innovation on all benefit lines of coverage, strategic focus and strong technical skills.
His skill set includes strategic planning facilitation, effective integration of consumer-driven plans with an emphasis on claim management and prevention. With over 20 years in the employee benefits space, Pete brings a straightforward approach to risk management. His extensive list of clients speaks to his ability to build and maintain strong relationships across many industries. Pete resides in Denmark, WI with his wife and two children.
Christian Tuinstra-
Christian has been serving the business community in the HRIS space for nearly 9 years. Focused on delivering tools that change the way employees experience work and interact with their leadership, his top priority is the care of the client base and the continued growth of the team that reports to him. Growing up in Union Grove, Christian attended the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and adopted the Fox Valley as home when he married Maya and welcomed Sterling (7), Scotland (3), and Rhodes (1). Outside of work, he, as most of us are, he is a Packer diehard, spends Sundays out on the golf course with his oldest, and is passionate about the daily family walk around Darboy park.
Stew Koskinen -
Stew Koskinen is mid-market new business Account Executive with UnitedHealthcare of Wisconsin, based in the De Pere office. Stew spent the first 15 years of his career as an employee benefits broker and Vice President at a local Wisconsin insurance agency. Stew joined UnitedHealthcare in 2019 in his sales role and he specializes in working with brokers and groups in the mid-market space, groups between 51-250 employees. His areas of expertise include fully insured, level funded and self-funded medical plan design, underwriting, wellness, ancillary coverage and benefits strategy.
Erin Sanders-
Erin Sanders is the Vice President of Human Resources at Evergreen Retirement Community in Oshkosh. She began her career there in 2001 after graduating from UW Oshkosh. She also obtained her MBA from Cardinal Stritch University in 2011. Erin has administered Evergreen’s benefit plans for over 20 years and has said more than once that benefits are her favorite. Other favorites include cheering on the Ripon College Redhawks, reading, listening to podcasts and learning everything she can about the Enneagram.
