About UsThe Oshkosh Area SHRM chapter was started in June of 2009 and officially chartered by SHRM on October 15, 2009. Our goal is to provide quality HR-related programming, networking opportunities, and professional development to HR professionals who live or work in the greater Oshkosh, WI area. We hold monthly programs with speakers from experts in the HR field, typically on the second Wednesday of every month (except in the summer months). | President Angela Johnson is the HR Manager at Custom Marine in Neenah, Wisconsin. She graduated from UW-Oshkosh in 2017 with a double major in Human Resources and Economics. While in college she was an active member in SHRM and served one year as the Vice-President. Since graduating she has been involved in the board as the President, College Relations Director and Programming Director. |

 | Communications Bobbie has worked for SEEK Careers/Staffing as a Recruiter, Team Leader and currently as a District Team Leader for the last 20 years. Bobbie graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay with a double major in Political Science and German Language with an emphasis in Environmental Politics and Policy in 2003. She has held her PHR since 2008 and SHRM CP since 2017. Bobbie has been an active member of Oshkosh Area SHRM for many years and a member of the programming and workforce readiness committees. She served as the Workforce Readiness Director from 2014 to 2016 and as the Membership Director from 2017 to 2019 and President Elect 2020 to 2021 and President 2022 to 2023. Outside of her professional life, Bobbie enjoys cheering on her two children, Dominic and Bella, in their many activities. She is an avid runner and enjoys competitively racing throughout the year as well as downhill skiing and hiking. |

| Treasurer Jessica Kuenstler is a dedicated human resource professional with a strong focus on employee relations, compliance, and building practical HR programs that support both people and business goals. She currently works as an HR Manager at Creative Metal Products, where she partners closely with operations and leadership teams to support workforce development, safety initiatives, and organizational effectiveness. Jessica earned her degree at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and continues to stay actively engaged in the profession through ongoing learning and involvement with SHRM. She is particularly passionate about fostering engaged teams, guiding leadership accountability, and implementing HR programs that positively impact employees while supporting organizational goals. She enjoys collaborating with fellow HR professionals and contributing to a strong, connected HR community. |
| President Elect Kendra has worked at Evergreen Retirement Community in Oshkosh since 2013 and as the Employment Coordinator since 2018. Evergreen is a non-profit full Life Plan Community serving older adults ages 55 and better since 1967. Our campus is situated on 35 beautiful acres and includes pools, fitness centers, Thomas E Neta Library, Pub 67, Gardenside Restaurant, Worship and Performing Arts Center and more. |

Chad Wade is a shareholder with the labor and employment law firm Strang, Patteson, Renning, Lewis, & Lacy s.c. Chad specializes in various Labor and Employment practice areas, including legal compliance for FLSA, FMLA, NLRA, and employment discrimination laws. He has experience drafting and implementing a wide range of employment policies from his time as in-house counsel for a Wisconsin municipality. Chad received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UW-Eau Claire and a law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. Chad has previously served as the Oshkosh Area SHRM Board’s Director of Governmental Affairs and Chapter President. In addition to serving on the Oshkosh Area SHRM board, Chad is actively involved in community organizations serving on Boards for the United Way of Fond du Lac County, Covey, and Fox Cities Curling. He is also a past Co-Chair of the Fox Valley Young Lawyers Association |
| Membership Paisleigh is currently the HR Supervisor at Kingsbury, Inc. in Oshkosh, WI. She has 8 years of experience in the manufacturing field, the last 6 of those being in Human Resources. She graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with her Associates in HR and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with her bachelors in Leadership & Organizational studies. Paisleigh has been an Oshkosh SHRM member for the duration of her years in Human Resources. |

| College Relations Kari Meszaros, UW Oshkosh Kari Meszaros is a Career Development Manager at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where she equips college students and recent graduates with career advice, job search strategies, and professional skills in the Financial Services and Accounting, Manufacturing, and Scientific & Natural Resources industries. She has over 20 years of experience working in human resources, consulting, and training and development in both public and private sectors. Kari received her BA degree in Organizational Communication from North Central College and her Master of Science in Training and Development degree from UW Stout. She has been a member and Programming Committee participant with Oshkosh SHRM since 2022. |
